Born To Shop Freebie

It has been a very quiet week on my blog this week, due to me preparing for another Demonstration. If you can join me at Kim's Craft in Hinckley tomorrow morning from 10am to 12noon. One stamp endless designs! I would love to see you there.

It has been a while since I have been to many of your blogs, but I promise to catch up soon.

Here is a card I made using inspiration from the talented crafter Lyndsey Marie. This is using the exclusive stamp that came free with the magazine a while back and combining that with the Persimmon papers from papermania.

Let Me Shop For Shoes and Nobody Gets Hurt...

These are one of the many cracking sentiments that Born to Shops have on their range of products and has been used in this stamp set from them called Shop Til You Drop. I like how she is holding onto those shoes so tight that they do not fall or nobody takes them from her! I hope she gets them home safe and sound. This again is inspired by Clare Curd.

Chocolate...

A technique that Clare Curd showed on TV was to create your own chocolate looking toppers using square adhesive gems. I really did enjoy doing this card, and people had lots of fun seeing this card at the demo. Before the card sold, I did add sentiments, ribbons, and bows and gems. This picture was taken right after the demo.

Handbag Style Card

Mourning the loss of my favourite x cut mini circle punch, that I use to create the scallop look, as I have not yet purchased the scallop nestabilities. Will have to get another... but I can not find the exact size one. There is one slightly  bigger. Does anyone know where you can get the old x cut mini punches from?

Another Born to Shop card! again. I am sorry. In the demo I encourage people to use their scraps. If you take a close look at the background paper, the lines go in two different directions. I did not have enough paper to cover the front of an A6 card, so intead I joined up two and covered the joining line with a border sticker from Born To Shop bubbles. And I like how the card came out. Do try this. It is great way to use scraps and I really enjoy using my scraps.

As I was demoing the range including stickers here I have used a cardstock sticker, but if you have the stamp you can use that instead.

Tonight Strictly Come Dancing starts and tomorrow is World Card Making Day - how are you celebrating or making?

Born to Shop A5 Decoupage Card

I have recently done a lot of thinking, the hand that has been dealt to me with the last year or so. The very highs and the very lows. And how I have developed as a person. The people who have left my life forever and gone on to a happier place, you are missed so much my dear nan and grandad, have forever left happy memory footprints in my heart. My broken foot! Hopefully onto happier times now, with Christmas and new year looming.

Here is an A5 Decoupage Card, that I made using the Born to Shop Bubbles Decoupage Kit. I have recently been very busy, crafting all hours to get a variety of goodies in my box for possible craft stalls. Wish me all the luck in the world.

Btw, thank you for all those who asked, yesterday was a lovely day with my mum. And Thank you for all your lovely wishes.

Onto the card now before you get bored and switched off...

Born To Shop

Another Born to shop Demo card from last year, as you can see from the volumes of cards that I made I do love this range, it is a shame since the launch of the stamps last year I have not had much chance to  use the range again. Something on my to do list to do. I have combined this stamp with the Piece of Cake papers. Fabulous.

I used the fab decoupage kit up, and then won another through Blog Candy on Clare Curds Blog! So I can recreate some of my favourites from last year! I am looking forward to do that, when I have a little time. I am trying so many new things. I hope it pays off, I am really working hard and trying so much stuff.

Born To Shop Demo Card

I am still showing you Born To Shop Demo cards, I hope you are not bored! There are few more yet to show. The next card is a gorgeous version of Clare Curds Card from the demos on TV. This shows you do not need to use all the layers on a decoupage card and this is on an A6 card blank. It also uses some of the glitter transfers.

A5 Born To Shop Demo Card

4 Days to go until my plaster is off...

This time I am showing Born To Shop Decoupage Demo Card. I used the inspiration from the television shows. The Decoupage packs are suited to A5 cards, however as I will show later you can use them on other card blanks sizes and you do not have to use all the layers on a single card. You can spread them out and be economical.

Born To Shop Demonstration

Thank you to everyone who attended the Demo, i enjoyed the demo! I appreciated you being there. Hello, to all the new faces and those who regularly attend. For those who worked in the shop, Beth, I am sorry, I am terrible with names, I hope you found your way to my blog. Let me know what you think! Hope you had a fantastic day.

I had the best of compliment from those who came, said I was one of the best Demonstrators! That was fab! You made my day...

I did go quiet, as I was not well last week and my throat was getting sore again! Not good at all.

GOOD NEWS! Kims Craft have agreed to stock the new Wild Rose Studio Stamps, they will be only at their Wigston Branch. I will miss the opening next week, because I am at a wedding. However I realised my Saturday is free, however if we do not stop over, I may make it to the opening!

The shop just had the Go Green Collection arrive as well. Docrafts get very confusing and not consistent in what they say! Naughty.  Anyways, I will show the first cards I made and posted on my blog a while ago. Both using the paper pack and the Glitter Transfers from the Go Green Range.

Out of the cards I have made today at the Demonstration, these two will remain with Kims Craft to be hung in their shop on their wall of cards. The two cards are pictured below, and as you can see they were taken in the shop.  The demo on the whole was not as busy as the Penny Black one, but it went well.
