Clare's Sketch Challenge At Docrafts

Firstly i would like to apologise for lack of posts recently. With family staying over and the little baby popping over time to time, running out of time to craft!

Here is my entry for Clare's Sketch Challenge at docrafts. I bought these christmas Sparkle stamp sets, and didnt know what to do as they were smaller than i expected. That is until i saw this sketch. I immediately knew i wanted to use these stamps. What i planned and ended up were two different things. I again stamped away on the background.

Products used:
Forever Friends Christmas Sparkle Stamp Set
Winters Tale Paper - Die Cut Tags
Watermark Ink Pad
Archival Black Ink Pad
Clear Embossing Powder
Papermania Christmas Textured Cardstock

Sketch and Stash Challenge Card

Its been a while sine i have been on here, and things appeared to have changed when posting. It has me all confused.

I have made this card using the cute and adorable Daisy and Dandelion Bubbles and Squeak All Wrapped Up Christmas Stamp Set. I used the layout on Sketch and Stash Challenge blog. I really love their sketches, they are so easy to work with.

I achieve the image by stamping through an aperture, a technique Clare demonstrated on QVC.

Items used:
D&D Bubbles and Squeak All Wrapped Up Christmas Stamp Set
Glitz it Glue
D&D Winters Tale Paper
Sparkling Trims
Papermania Button
Thread
Anita's Gem Stone Wheel
Christmas peel off stickers

Pink Card For Die Cut Dreams DT Entry

Whilst blog hopping I realised how many Christmas cards I needed to make, and at Sassy Sue's Die Cut Challenge Blog to enter to be part of Design Team she would like you to create a Pink Card. The deadline is 27th September 2009.

Really had to think fast, in the end I decided to use Claire's Sketch Layout from Creativity Issue 16 to create the above card. I was that eager to get the card up without missing the deadline, I didnt wait for the glue to dry clear on the flower, which it will. Hope you like.

Products Used:
DCWV Rose Tinted Christmas Multistack
Black Card
Anita's Cute and Cuddly Stamp Set
Glitz It Glue
Everyday Ribbon
Snowflake Punch
Adhesive Gems
Embellishment Trio Set
Waterbrush Markers

The old is Papermania's Naughty and Nice - Merry Christmas Stamp Set. The new is Daisy and Dandelion - Santa's Little Helpers Stamp Set. Using my favourite technique of DIY paper, stamped and embossed the text Joy all over the background. I created the second similar card for Moving Along with The Times Challenge, but little Miss Silly here forgot to post it in time! Never mind.

Combining Old and New Products

This was inspired by a project on docrafts site. I created this card using a bit of new and a bit of old stuff. The old being the Retro Floral Stamp and the new being Joyeux Noel Christmas Stamp Set. I teamed this up with black card stock, silver borderline and greeting stickers, and shimmer dots.

Using the same layout, I also created: Again using the same, but this time the new was Anita's Jingle Bell Stamp Set.

Not sure what i think of these, hope you like them.
