Me To You Saturdays Week 26

Just discovered today that my local craft shop, Kims Craft is closing its branch in Hinckley at the end of May. It came with shock, they are doing well but some dispute with the landlord and the lease. Which is an awful shame, I thoroughly enjoyed demonstrating for the shop.

I just wanted to say thank you to all the kind folk out there, and for all your lovely comments yesterday. They were really nice and appreciated. I thought maybe I am doing something wrong! They really meant a lot to me, you are all so kind. Whilst I appreciate that a lot of people will just look at the cards, a blog which is more about the person behind the cards means more to me.

Here is another Me to you card, another variation on last weeks card. I need to get Me to you inspired, and start creating more Me to you cards. I have so much to do and no idea, when I am going to be fit to do it all in. I really want to learn crotchet, and making it a task today to start!

Time for another post, this is a first for me using my neglected stash and a first for me. First outing at my Me to You range.  I am very happy with the results.

When I initially got the range, I was not sure how to ink it up and what to do and set of to experiment. I then watched a lot of cards being made, and saw how they were inked up and coloured. I eventually came to this conclusion in using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad and Cool Grey Promarkers for colouring in.

On the heels of my success with Forever Friends Sunday, I am making Saturdays a Me To You Saturday Day. This way it will give me structure on deciding on what to post on my blog. So Welcome to Week 1.
