Penny Black Monday Week 19

Hi, and welcome to a late post from me again. I had a lovely Bank Holiday out watching an Asian film with two very very very very HOT super fit guys on a large screen, lovely jubbly. So I have been slightly distracted.

But here is my Penny Black Creation, a Bookmark Corner. I started these Penny Black Mondays, to get more use of my Penny Black stamps, a lot of them have not seen ink and I have so many. 2012 - will be a year where I will not be spending a lot, as I have had to tighten my budget with other expenses, and I already have so much and no room to put in new stuff. So must use up my old stuff especially the papers. Sounds familiar? Then if you have the time, feel free to come and join me. Leave me a comment and I will love to see your creation and link you in this post (all I ask in return is that you link me)

Wild Rose Studio - Football Lad

I hope you have enjoyed this spotlight, it is nearly coming to an end. As promised the next stamp is Mia in Kimono Stamp from the Wild Rose Studio stamps, and I have really enjoyed this stamp. I really enjoy the oriental range of products, unique and a kind of cards you do not often see in the shops.

On this card is some layering, some machine stitching and I really enjoyed making this card. I have a new sewing machine and will enjoy playing with it.

Penny Black Week 10

There will be no brand focused days next week, but they will return the week after. Stay tuned for Monday 9am, to find out more.

This week is a very busy week from me. So it will be very short posts from me. Today I am showing you a bookmark corner I made. I have noticed a few people making these, but they put the image on wrong dont forget the bookmark corner, goes on the corner of your page, so the image should be lined up in accordance with that.

Fishing...

Another week of Forever Friends Week 26, for anyone that is keeping count. Hey when, I first started I did not think that I would reach this far, but I have! And I am more determined to keep going. Yippee.

Whoops again, here is another card I made using the Sports Stamp from the Retro Collection. My excuse with my bad foot, I can not keep going to the draw to get different stamps, so I have to make use of the stamp on my desk! I like the effect that machine stitching has on a card. I really enjoy it.

Forever Friends Sunday Week 24

Wow! Week 24, 6 months of Sundays with Forever Friends cards. Oooo... Something to celebrate and partay with.

I have been doing well. In my current condition I do not know if I will be able to keep up the other days of crafts, but will not let the Forever Friends one go. Here is one of my new makes using the Retro Collection. At my last craft fair all my cricket cards were snapped up and this image fit this card perfectly. In my new makes, I seem to be using this set of stamp quiet a lot. I have created 7 cards using this stamp set, some of yet to be posted. I think I need to pick up a different stamp set out of my draw! It is Christmas soon, so maybe I need to focus on that range from Forever Friends.

Penny Black Monday Week 5

Today is another day, and I hope all in the UK have had a lovely bank holiday weekend. Tomorrow is back to work for the most of us, not me - I have another day holiday BUT will spend a portion of my time at the hospital tomorrow, and will see what fate brings me.

It took me a while to decide what card I was going to post today here. But in the end I have gone with this bookmark! My favourite new item to make. I will next be trying gift tags, I think. I really need to give crotchet some time to learn and conquer! I have learnt that my sister in laws mother, knows crotchet. Wow! Someone who I can learn from, meanwhile I have some you tube videos to look at and hopefully that will help. I just can not seem to get past the first row.

Hello and welcome to Penny Black Mondays Week 2. If you would like to join me, please do and leave a comment on my blog. So i can add a link to this post and visit your work to.

I was looking through my posts, and realised I have not written a post for today. How could I miss out on Week 2! That would be silly of me as I do have lots to show you.

Today is another (sorry) Bookmark Corner, I have made it to coordinate with the card that I showed a while ago here. Also I bought this paper pack from My Minds eye, my first paper pack from the company and I love it. I have used lots of it, so you may be seeing this on my cards for a while.

I am also entering this into the Penny Black Saturday Challenge the theme is anything goes.

Penny Black At All Sorts and Saturday Challenge

It has been a while since I have participated in challenges. So here is a card for two challenges. I have lots and lots and lots of Penny Black stamps. One draw which is nearly full of clear stamp sets, and nearly two draws full of Penny Black wooden stamps. At my last count, i nearly have £900 worth of wooden and clear stamps. With the Limited Edition stamps coming out any day and the Christmas collection coming out, I think I may hit the £1000 mark.

I have been thinking that I might run a similar thing like my Forever Friends Sunday where one day in the week I show you a Penny Black card / project.  Hopefully this will encourage me to use up my stash and get my moneys worth. It has worked for me with my Forever Friends theme.

The Challenge at Penny Black At All Sorts is to make a card with the theme Flower Power. The card below has flowers as embellishments. They were white flowers coloured in with the same promarkers as the image. I hope this counts.

Over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge the theme is Desert Island Stamp, which stamp would you take to a Desert Island.  Although the Ginger Stamp from Penny Black is a favourite of mine. I have begun to love this La Soiree stamp from Penny Black. I think today if I was going to a Desert Island I would take this stamp (and try to sneak a few more in my pockets...)
