Creative Expression Demo Card

I would usually make this post on a Friday, but tomorrow is the wedding of Prince William and Kate. So I have decided to make this post a day earlier.

Here is my final Demonstration card that I made for Creative Expressions Demo I did last year. For the demonstration I used the Animal Safari and Jungle Friend Stamp Set. The Sentiment was hand written. My first attempts at distressing - you can see I kept that to a minimal amount! I do like this card - even it is a year on!

To view all my other Demo cards, and other cards using products from Creative Expressions, click here

That is all for now for my Creative Expressions = non Christmas cards wise. I will show the Christmas Card Demo Samples using Creative Expressions later on in the year. Next Week I will start posting again on the Friday and will show my remaining Penny Black Samples. Being a year ago - I will sure have to dig out the Penny Black Stamp Sets to find out which sets I used! O dear... What Have i got myself into?

I am a bit late with this post. Here is the last but one card I made for my Creative Expressions Demo over a year ago. Isnt weird how we evolve as crafters and how much different my style is now.

My appointment has come through at last, but is still a good couple of weeks away - so much for calling it urgent.

By Cute and Girly Challenge

Sorry for the lack of posts this week! I have been really tired, and I have not had the energy to post. Yesterday I had every intention to come and post, but I was too tired. I think I have recovered from most of the travelling up and down the wonderful M25!

I am entering this card into the By the Cute and Girly Challenge which is Animal Antics. This is a tri shutter card using the Creative Expressions products. I am also entering this into Cute Card Thursday Challenge, with the theme of Whatever!
I used each panels, and use basic matting and layering. And adding the animals onto each panel. I quiet like this card fold, and regretfully I have only ever made one of this card fold.  I also like the sentiment it is a bit of a jokey sentiment.

Hi Julia, i have not forgotten about the Born To Shop cards, will start posting them, would love to see more of yours. I have posted some of them.

Creative Expressions Demo Card

This is another card I made on the day of the demonstraton using both stamp sets from Creative Expressions, the Jungle Friend and the Animal Safari Stamp Set. Using the style of Noahs Ark. The card and the animals took a bit of cutting to fit the card style.  I hope you are like this card.

Creative Expressions Card

Hi there, today I thought I would show you a card that I made on the Creative Expressions Demonstrations Day. Here I have used the Funky Vintage paper from Dovecrafts with the Jungle Friend Stamp Set. I have added doodling around the paper edges.  The sentiment is from Clare Curd's Signature Range. I threaded the button and tied a bow for a different finish.

Last Creative Expressions Demo Card

I must say I do have fun at these demonstrations. I would like to say thank you to all the people who come and watch and listen to me talk for 3 hours. You are all so kind, and I enjoy sitting and chatting with you all.

For those who queried at my demonstration that it was a bit difficult to find the samples from Creative Expressions, as I have not uploaded them all in one go. At the end of the post, you should see some labels, Creative Expressions (CE). Click on that, and that will display all the cards that I have posted so far with this range. This will include the Christmas ones I did for the shop.

I have enjoyed this bank holiday, dont know about you. However tomorrow is back to work. Boohoo... Oh well, despite the rain I have enjoyed the time off, I have no real holiday this year apart from the manic month of October in which I get married to my love.

This card is the last Demo card, I prepared in advance of the Creative Expressions Animal Safari and Jungle Friend demonstration.  This is creating my own background, and using scraps of Christmas paper. Other cards that I will now show are the ones that I made on the day.

P.S For a very nice person at demonstration, I think her name is Lynn, who asked which Green Ink Pad I used. I can not find the link on docrafts, but Papermania sell these mini pigment ink pads in pack of three, you most likely be able to find it in at the Range. I think I paid £1.99 for each set of 3. If not, Kims Craft have ordered stuff in for me from docrafts, ask them if they can find out any further information for you.

Another Mans Card

I feel sorry for all those stranded, but I wish they would let people fly. They say that they can fly lower, I just want some family to return. They are not  making it clear how long this will go on, just giving us day by day reports.

This is another demo card I did for my Creative Expressions Demonstration. Here is the sneak peak I teased you all with and the card. Again i was showing backgrounds here, as the two stripey and the centre piece is my own background.

More Jungle Safari Animal Friends...

Happy Sunday also means that tomorrow is Monday and that means back to work. But tomorrow I have a holiday! yay! I hope you didnt forget to set your clocks forward an hour today!

I had a proper go on my wii fit console and games last night, and looked at the clock it was nearly midnight. I didnt realise that i had spent 4 hours on it! Think of the cards i could have made in that time, lol!

Here is another card I made for my demonstration, to show that quick cards do not need to be coloured in. The paper is from Some Bunny Loves You Stamp Set, but i have coloured the yellow and white areas with orange brushmarker to suit the colour theme.

Here is another demo card from my Creative Expressions Demo day using the animal stamp set. The characters are from the Jungle Friend Stamp set and the sentiment is from the Animal Safari Stamp Set.

I wanted to show how doodling can add to your card, and how to change an animal with a simple addition of a flower.

Another Demo Card

I created this for my demonstration using both stamp sets. This can be done using a masking technique, however i coloured in various animals and placed them onto the card. Thus allowing me to chop and change easily with the placement of animals.

I am entering this into Creative Cottage Challenge which is to use flowers and my hippo has a flower.

Demo Card

I created this card for my demonstration at Kims Craft using the stamp set Jungle Friends from Creative Expressions. The sentiment was stamped onto a punched circle and put on top of a flower. The centre embellished with mini buttons. Doodling around the frame in which the hippo sits. The sentiments stamped over the background from both Animal Safari and Jungle Friends, then heat embossed.

Monochrome Demo Card

I have created this Monochrome Card by only using the two flower stamps in the Jungle Friend Stamp Set. Using this I created my own background and flower embellishments.

The flower is made of a strip of paper, stamped onto and folded back and forth and edges joined together. The centre of the flower has the little flower in the middle. Stamped the sentiment in the top right corner. The colours and stamp, can be changed to suit the occasion.

Also, with this card I wanted to show that you may not find a card blank in your choice of colour, and you may not always use all the coloured cards in a pack. So you can change the colour of the card by covering the front of a card in any colour card of your choice.

Demo

Jungle Friends
Animal Safari
I have been asked to do another demonstration! I am so excited, i started making cards with papers and things  I have. Naughty me, will have to go to the shop and find out the stuff they have! Or i will be in trouble, lol. But I am looking forward to the demo.

Both stamp sets are from Creative Expressions U Mount Stamp Range. The second stamp set was demonstrated on Create and Craft. To get them to answer your questions is silly, they answer everything they want and keep repeating it, and never actually answer them!

The Demonstration is on 6th March 2010, 10am to 1pm. It is at:

Kims Craft
4-8 Coventry Road
Hinckley
Leicestershire
LE10 0JT

If you are near by, drop in.

We haven't heard from Erica Martyn, so i can only assume and send her congratulations wishes. Hopefully she is recovering from labour and enjoying time with the little one. So  I have created a few cards, and although I have submitted them I dont know when they will get posted. I will however share them gradually over the next few weeks.

Every week i always look forward to the Wednesday for the new docrafts project of the week and video. However there has been no new video recently, i suppose that was meant to be for the paid members will see what happens.

EDIT:  With the above stamp sets I intend to make cards for all ages, and all occasions including christmas
