More Cute Companion Sneak Peaks
Hi there, as I am still rapidly preparing for my demo here are more sneak peaks of cards I will show later here after my demonstration. For more info on the demo click here. Hope to see you there. If you can not make it to this one, there is another demonstration on 12th June for Penny Black. After this demonstration, I will show you the stamp sets I am demonstrating for the Penny Black demonstration.
This Saturday, I hope to show you layouts and different ways to use your patterened paper up. How to colour in these cute adorable images.

I just noticed the changes on blogland, to now upload photos to blogland, you need to click on Upload from this blog, and then on the right hand side click upload. All of a sudden I then found comments yesterday two weeks old that had not been approved. There are some strange happenings here in blogland, I wish they would tell us about these changes.
I will probably catch up on your blogs by Sunday, as I need to make as many samples as possible.

Docrafts...
We have all seen the changes to the docrafts site, some good or some bad. Following my post, they have made the gallery images larger. However, i still find that they need to make further changes. Like remove the no rating button in the gallery, let the site stop you from leaving no rating button like before. How ridiculous slow it is to leave feedback for anyone. How you have lost all your private messages without warning from docrafts? Someone replied saying that moderators posted on the forum, no good posting on the forum they should be sending a mass email like they do for everything else.
If you want to post your comments, please do so on the forum and not in blogland. My post is here

Cute Companions Demonstration 1st May
I will be demonstration on 1st May with Cute Companions at:
KIM'S CRAFTS
4-8 COVENTRY ROAD
HINCKLEY
LEICESTERSHIRE
LE10 0JT
tel: 01455 619080
If you can manage to make it there I would truly appreciate your support and it would be nice to see familiar faces.
I did manage it to the shops today, and the reason for the stamp set not being listed in the leaflet is as i thought. I agreed to the do the demonstration and it wasnt agreed until after the leaflets were printed which stamps that I would be demonstrating as we were bouncing ideas back and forth for sometime.
Drum roll...
I can now reveal my next demonstration will be for the Cute Companion Stamps. In particular I will be using the Play Days and Dressing Up Stamp Set. I have enjoyed using these stamp sets and now I am a fan of this range. It has got me using my rocker blockers which were one of my craft items gathering dust. At the same time, this reminding me of Stick and Spray bottle which I totally forgot about.

Daisy and Dandelion
Hi there, thank you so much for all your lovely kind messages, I truly appreciate it. I was really touched by the kindness of other crafters out there and your concern. I am feeling slightly better, but I have to keep going if I am going to be ready for the demo. So at the moment, I am a bit high on painkillers and wrapped up warm, so if you see a looney in town wrapped up in layers thats me!! I keep saying I wont leave things til the last minute, last i checked i had three weeks before this demo. Where did all the time go? Therefore I have started making cards for the June's Penny Black demonstration now. Also, I need to get some commissioned cards done as well. I appreciate it, So i got more money to spend on the new stuff.
Just saw docrafts leaflet for the next items, I really like the Born to Shop range that they are releasing! Although I dont want to.... But i will defnitely buy that.
Here is a card I made a while ago for my DT card, you have seen a similar card earlier this week, where I replaced Daisy with Forever Friends bear. However, I really do love the Some Bunny Loves You paper, especially that patterned paper. I hope you like.

Sorry...
Sorry for the lack of activity in visiting your blogs and galleries, do not feel so good atm, feel like crying. I am hoping this will pass, and will not affect my up and coming demonstration.
If all is well, I should be at Kims Craft tomorrow to buy some stuff and if Kim is back from her holiday will ask her if I can reveal the stamps. I probably can but it has not been mentioned in the leaflet therefore would like to ensure that I can before I do.
Meanwhile here is another sneak peak of a sample to tease you with, have not managed to take pictures of the other cards as of yet.

Sallys Spotlight of Simon Says Stamp
Sally is spotlighting Simon Says Stamp this week here, in particular their clear stamps. They have been in business since 2002 and sponsor so many challenge blogs out there, which we appreciate it.
They have a wide range of products and Sally says their customer services is superb. This day and age this is hard to come by as most companies are all about the money and do not care. However in my opinion if you care, you are more likely to get the sales.
For a chance to win a set of clear stamps below, visit Sallys blog and good luck

Another Mans Card
I feel sorry for all those stranded, but I wish they would let people fly. They say that they can fly lower, I just want some family to return. They are not making it clear how long this will go on, just giving us day by day reports.
This is another demo card I did for my Creative Expressions Demonstration. Here is the sneak peak I teased you all with and the card. Again i was showing backgrounds here, as the two stripey and the centre piece is my own background.

So today out of the draw is this gorgeous Forever Friend stamp from the Celebration Stamp Set. That has not saw ink until today! Yay! Just realised that I have also missed this challenge.

I can still enter this card into Creative Card Crew Challenge, which is to create a Happy birthday card. I am also entering this into the Cute Card Thursday Challenge which is Touchy Feely. Sneak Peak
My eye appointment went well yesterday. I had to rest my eyes for 6 hours due to drops they put in my eyes. And even after that it took my eyes half an hour to adjust to everything, the tv screeen, the computer, outdoors. I am booked in to have the treatment, they say I will be in for 2 hours. I had two options, one where they cut it with laser or just laser treatment. I do not care if the lasek, just laser no cutting has longer recovery for 5 days, I am NOT have the cutting one, it sounds vile. He kept asking me are you sure? Yes I am. Even those who I spoke to in the waiting room who had there eyes done last thursday and the same treatment. So I will be disappearing for a week in June, if all goes well. Just need to clear it with work.
Here is another Sneak Peak of a upcoming card for my demonstration which I will reveal after 1st May. Sorry because of my eyes yesterday I completely forgot ro ring the shop, however will try Monday now.

I will be able to take pictures later today of the other cards, and show you more sneak peaks of cards for the next two weeks. I am not too confident with my samples again like last time, and I hope people like my demonstration and buy the stamp sets. I am looking forward to the Penny Black demonstration though, I have lots of ideas.

Another Demo Card
This card I did for my demonstration at Kims Craft. I have used brown ribbon, with latte cardstock across the bottom of the card blank. The bow was the white one from the Capsule Collection, which i coloured in with brush markers to coordinate with the card. The balloons were from Clare Curds Signature Range.
Hope you like, this week no D&D card as I preparing for two demonstrations. I am hoping to speak to Kim today and then I maybe able to show the stamp sets I will be demonstrated on 1st May 2010.
Meanwhile I am off for an eye appointment later on today as I am going to book myself into eye laser surgery.

Still Frustrated...
I am still frustrated with the site, I have noticed not many upload their projects before and not many are leaving feedback. It is still very slow. I hope that they will fix it soon. I had a real moan on facebook earlier.
However, if i know your blog address I will leave you feedback for your projects there. At the moment, the site is still very slow and it is so long winded to leave feedback and I do not have the time. I am sorry.
I am equally frustratd as people are not seeing that the number of stars in the feedback order has changed, so still scroll down to the last one, which is now the least! I can see that across a lot of members galleries.

New Docraft Site
The new docrafts site has been uploaded today. I do not like it so far, viewing the gallery is a lot slower. The thumbnails are much smaller, so you have to hover your mouse and wait for a bigger picture to upload. You are asked more information when uploaded projects. Its a lot harder to leave feedback, you have to click on the project, then click on have your say, then type your message.
I tried to purchase the club but it wont allow me at present, kept throwing my card out although I know for 100% all the details were correct. I can only assume this is hiccups for the present time and will wait til the weekend before I try again. I hope they do iron them out.

Clare's Sketch Challenge
Thank you for all your comments about my Daisy and Dandelion cards. I do enjoy making them, however as I am not happy at their decision it also upsets me. So I have not made my mind up. I do have my cards made up in advance of all the projects and themes as i knew my demonstration commitments in advance. So I may continue to post those!
Over at docrafts, there is a link on the home page to a Sketch Challenge, each week it alternates from a Sketch Challenge to a Photo Inspirational Challenge. This week it is a Sketch layout as below.

Closure Of the Daisy and Dandelion Blog
The Daisy and Dandelion blog has been closed by docrafts. I can not tell you how upset we all were when we were told this morning. If people like the projects they buy the products, which means sales for docrafts. I really do not see any logic in the decision. They object to the idea of the blog even though they were aware of it from the start.
However they are quiet happy with other blogs like the Forever Friends Challenge Blog
EDIT: I have had few emails from people saying that they thought this range was popular and this range is being discontinued. This is not the case. The range is still supported by Docrafts who own the copyright. The products and items from this range are particular popular and do sell out. This has nothing to do with their decision and more friends are due to be released from this range.

Another Demonstration Card
In my Demonstration I wanted to show people that you can adapt any stamp set. This time I used the gorilla from the stamp set and made a christmas card. This card I have entered into Clare's Photo Inspirational Challenge at docrafts.
I would also like to apologise for showing a Christmas Card this time of the year, so sorry. However, the more I get done this time of the year the less I will have to do later. Also I am getting married in October and I dont think this newly wed will have a lot of time to make cards.

A few days ago, I noticed that Sarah became a follower of my blog and therefore I now officially have 100 followers! woohoo! It took it time to go up, but it is increasing slowly by slowly. I do not know how these blogs manage to have 1000+ followers, but it is sure hard work! I will try to organise some blog candy to celebrate.
Also wanted to wish all my followers and visitors A Happy Easter.
Check out this beautiful Candy in my side bar.

V&A Collection
I am in love with the new V&A Collection, all of it. So i bought it. I had a friend come over who loved some of the cards I have made from this and therefore ordered a wedding card for a friend. She chose the theme of Brown, Cream and White and Sparkle.
I used the V&A Vine Stencil to emboss the background of the cardstock. I then highlighted with some shimmer chalk. I enjoyed embossing this and was quiet relaxed. I found it theraupetic. My friend loved this card and I enjoyed making this card.
Products Used:
Embossing Tool
V&A Vine Stencil
V&A Potpourri Clear Stamp Set
Confetti Clear Stamp
Confetti Anniversay Sentiment Stamp Set
I am also entering this card into Crafty Creations challenge which is anything goes theme.
