Forever Friends and Just Cute Bears Challenge

This week the challenge at the Forever Friends Challenge Blog the challenge is for a Quick and Simple Card. The challenge at the Just Cute Bears Challenge Blog is to create a card with the theme of Congratulations. For me a card usually takes three or four hours, as I am designing the image, deciding on papers, deciding on embellishments, it is not an easy task for me. I had a friend whose text i read this morning at 8.15am that she was coming at 9am for an asian wedding card that she will be attending soon.  This card from top to bottom was done and finished with 5 minutes to spare. I was so stressed! So it is quick and simple for me.

Materials used:
Forever Friends - All Loved Up Papers
Cardstock
Forever Friends - Bride and Groom Toast Stamp Set
Black Archival Ink Pad
Papermania Watercolour Pencils

Card For Clare's Sketch Challenge

I would like to ask a huge favour, if anyone has a taping of the show where the stamp Animal Safari below was being demonstrated on Create and Craft I would appreciate a copy if possible. Please send me an email.

I created the card below using Clare's Sketch Challenge above from Docrafts .  I flipped the sketch, moved a couple of the elements slightly, and rotated an element. However the layout is still visible.

This card could be for many occasions. However I created this card as a Sympathy Card for someone I lost this week.

Black Archival Ink Pad
Ancient Page Dye Ink Pad - Chocolate
Daisy and Dandelion - Some Bunny Loves You Stamp Set
Daisy and Dandelion - Some Bunny Loves You Paper

Demo

Jungle Friends
Animal Safari
I have been asked to do another demonstration! I am so excited, i started making cards with papers and things  I have. Naughty me, will have to go to the shop and find out the stuff they have! Or i will be in trouble, lol. But I am looking forward to the demo.

Both stamp sets are from Creative Expressions U Mount Stamp Range. The second stamp set was demonstrated on Create and Craft. To get them to answer your questions is silly, they answer everything they want and keep repeating it, and never actually answer them!

The Demonstration is on 6th March 2010, 10am to 1pm. It is at:

Kims Craft
4-8 Coventry Road
Hinckley
Leicestershire
LE10 0JT

If you are near by, drop in.

We haven't heard from Erica Martyn, so i can only assume and send her congratulations wishes. Hopefully she is recovering from labour and enjoying time with the little one. So  I have created a few cards, and although I have submitted them I dont know when they will get posted. I will however share them gradually over the next few weeks.

Every week i always look forward to the Wednesday for the new docrafts project of the week and video. However there has been no new video recently, i suppose that was meant to be for the paid members will see what happens.

EDIT:  With the above stamp sets I intend to make cards for all ages, and all occasions including christmas

Some Bunny Loves You

Hello all, here is one my cards on which I have used a Sewing Machine. My goal was to try something new, and I have certainly used this on a few cards which you will see shortly. I hope you like.

I am loving the new Papermania Watercolour pencils, i have had some other brands before but with these they have a lot of pigment and dont leave a scratchy mark on your images.

I hope that Erica Martyn is doing well, I can only assume she has given birth.

Don't forget to check out the Daisy and Dandelion Blog for more inspiration. If you have found my blog through this blog, do become a follower and leave a comment so I know you have been. Hopefully i will continue to inspire others with this range.

I will be honest I do not often purchase the goody bag, and buy the contents individually that I need and still save. However I did buy this goody bag, and it is value for money. I am certainly still making cards from the goody bag.

I have been inspired by Sue Lesley for this card.

Stampin Chic Sketch & Colour Challenge

I just spent half an hour, adding labels to my posts. So at the end of the post, you may click on the label and it will show you all posts with that label. It will make my blog easier to follow.

I was trying to complete my card for the Sketch Challenge at Stampin Chic. However I was struggling to finish the last two elements on my card and coordinate them. Then reading the challenge I realised it did not say it was for a week or two weeks, and it was previously two weeks. So I left a message, and Clare replied on my blog saying it was for 2 weeks. I breathed a sigh of relief, got ready for work and thought about the challenge and the final two elements on my card, checked later online to find Beckie and posted a new challenge. So I am confused there. It teaches me for leaving it to the last minute as always.

However, the new colour challenge of Black, Pink and White as at least helped me finish the card I had originally intended to enter for the challenge.  So i have combined the sketch and the colour challenge, and here is my card. I would love your honest opinion.

All Loved Up

I am entering this card into the Forever Friends Challenge Blog where this weeks challenge is to create a card with at least two layers which can include the base of the card. I have the base card, the paper, the image, the polka dot mini buttons, the greeting.

This card is unlike my other cards, where i like to layer everything and ink the edges. And no stamp!!!!

I have doodled around the edges of the forever friends image which i have cut out from the patterned paper.

Products used:
Square Card Blank
Forever Friends - All Loved Up papers
Papermania Accent Stickers
Papermania Whisper Brush Markers

Hi all

Just a quick post to say I am still in the land of living. I have a few cards ready to be put together to be shown. However, i want to do something new and use a sewing machine. Work is really hectic, so I probably will not have anything new until the weekend. I wanted to get it done for Clare's Inspirational Challenge, where you draw inspiration from a photo however I will not get this finished in time.

I will catch up on all your lovely blogs by the weekend.
