Born To Shop Demo Card

I am still showing you Born To Shop Demo cards, I hope you are not bored! There are few more yet to show. The next card is a gorgeous version of Clare Curds Card from the demos on TV. This shows you do not need to use all the layers on a decoupage card and this is on an A6 card blank. It also uses some of the glitter transfers.

Gardening

I did not realise until today that the card I posted on Friday I had already posted! Whoops! Oh well, you got to see it twice!

I was asked to do a card for a Uncle's 90th who likes gardening. I went on a search through all my stamps to see if I could find anything to suit this occasion.  However, there was no luck. I decided to use the Go Green Range of papers, as the colours also fit a masculine theme even if the papers were meant for the images of the ladies in the Born to Shop Range. I struggled with that to decide if that would suit a mans card.

In the end i sketched this image, and enjoyed doing it. Coloured it in with promarkers. Hope you like.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Demo, i enjoyed the demo! I appreciated you being there. Hello, to all the new faces and those who regularly attend. I did go quiet, as I was not well last week and my throat was getting sore again! Not good at all.

GOOD NEWS! Kims Craft have agreed to stock the new Wild Rose Studio Stamps, they will be only at their Wigston Branch. I will miss the opening next week, because I am at a wedding. However I realised my Saturday is free, however if we do not stop over, I may make it to the opening!

The shop just had the Go Green Collection arrive as well. Docrafts get very confusing and not consistent in what they say! Naughty.  Anyways, I will show the first cards I made and posted on my blog a while ago. Both using the paper pack and the Glitter Transfers from the Go Green Range.

Out of the cards I have made today at the Demonstration, these two will remain with Kims Craft to be hung in their shop on their wall of cards. The two cards are pictured below, and as you can see they were taken in the shop.  The demo on the whole was not as busy as the Penny Black one, but it went well.

By The Cute & Girly Challenge

I am entering this card into the By The Cute & Girly Challenge which is to create an item on the theme of Warm Sunny Days.  I made this as one of Demonstration Cards, as I was thought I was doing to be demonstrating the Go Green Range. However, they have pushed the date of the release forward, and it is now the Born To Shop - Bubbles Range that I will be demonstrating.

I forgot to come back here and thank everyone who came to the Penny Black Demonstration. The stamps I demonstrated sold out, and the shop had orders for more! So this was a success, and I was very happy it went well. I hope everyone enjoyed it, and it was a pleasure to demonstrate to you all.

Clare Curds Inspirational Challenge

This week Clare Curd as every other week is hosting a challenge over at docrafts. This week it is the turn of the photo challenge.

From this photo, you draw inspiration from the photo, such as colour combination or the physicality of it. Although the picture is of coffee, I dont like coffee but it reminded me of tea as my mum drinks so much tea. I then saw a glitter transfer from the Born to Shop Go Green Challenge, which I just had to use! It was perfect.

This is my resulting card. It was originally going to be a demo card, however recently discovered that the Born to Shop Bubble Range hits the shops in July, but the Go Green range will not hit the shops until end of July. However, no harm in showing the card is there.
