I am Ill again

hi, I am ill once again. I barely have enough energy to get to work, do my work and come home. And make any cards. I have the same stomach problems as before, not sure what is happening. This time at least I have tablets, I have been bed bound for the last couple of days. Could someone please send me a nice doctor?

Forever Friends Week 14

Hey I am back for another Sunday with Forever Friends. I am pleased with myself, as after last weeks attempts at a card, I managed to salvage some ideas and create a card.

Here is a card I made with the Retro Good Life - Sports Stamp. I used the cuttlebug to emboss the stars, and slightly sanded the stars to bring them out. Highighted the edge with a white pen. Added a strip of football paper across the middle with a button. (Got lots of those to use up too!). Enjoy!

Cute Companions Demo Card

Hey, I am doing well this week with this Demo Card post. Its on time! Here is my final card that I have to show you from demo card samples from the Cute Companion Range. I made the purchases at Kim's Crafts who now have an online shop too. So you can still be naughty in their very nice shop without leaving your home!

I showed this card before but in a different colour, to show those who attended the demonstration that if you see a card and you like the idea, but not the colours. You are the crafter, take the idea and you can change the colours and make it your own.I do like this neutral earth colour.

Sorry no picture of a desk today. It is covered with uninteresting paperwork and letters, and a couple of packages awaiting to be opened. and Google will not allow me to upload it. About my parcels, I can not believe I have not yet opened! I am normally quick to open them! Oh well, will reveal the contents of the parcel and the cards I hid underneath the stamps last week as well as my PIF. I did try to at least comment on those who left me comments, but I did not manage to do so. It has been a really busy hectic week.

My PIF went all the way to the Phillipines. I have not heard anything yet, but I can safely assume it has arrived now.

Did you hear my good news? I am on the Design Team for the Odds & Soxlets collection. I am so super excited about this. They are a cute bunch of characters. Although I can not reveal samples yet, you can see the collection of cuddly characters on the site. They are cute soft toys cuddly characters available, which are ideal for young children. The digi collection launches 1st July! The collections will be available individually and in sets. I am bursting to show you them, but I will have to hold fire! Erica is definitely one talented person and creates such beautiful quirky characters. I wish her all the success.

Forever Friends Sunday Week 13

Week 13, definitely an unlucky 13 for me. This is the reason why this post is so late. I have been sitting here experimenting all day and I have not done anything I like. So here is a card inspired by Clare Curd again. Clare also writes for Quick Cards Made Easy, she made this a5 card using the decoupage kit. Here i made a similar version using the stamp set.

Welcome to another week of WOYWW 106, with our host Julia. To see what I am talking about, pop on over to the start here. I made it to most desks last week, a couple of pages did not open for me.

My desk is here, with the two new Penny Black Stamps I have ordered from the glitterpot. Its such a naughty site and shop, filled to the realms with goodies. I have also started two cards, which I have hidden underneath the new stamps, as they are not finished quiet yet and I am not sure what I think of them.

Just popping out underneath the lace edged stamp is free digis at Clare Curd's blog. They are fantastic. I am not sure yet what to do with them. I will soon think of something. Thank you Clare for the free digis. I am still surprised and missing Clare Curd's work at docrafts, for me she was docrafts. And as great as Phil is, he is not Clare. No disrespect to Phil, he is a talented crafter.

Forever Friends Sunday Week 12

Hello again, it's little me. I am back with another Forever Friends Sunday. Week 12. I have been ongoing with this, for 12 weeks - 3 months! wow! i am impressed with myself!!! Are you allowed to be? I did not think I would be going this long! But I will carry on as I mean to go on. Must use the papers, CD's, stamps, decoupage packs up. And soon - they are releasing more, i say MORE Forever Friends Retro Christmas Collection. There is certainly no room in my draws for this.... Oh well, how about two Forever Friends a card a week!!!! Might get there sooner.

This time I had time to create a new creation. Inspired by The Sweet Stop Sketches, although the card i planned to enter for this weeks challenge, I did not get to a place I was happy with. So i thought I would show you this card, I created using a previous sketch. I do love the Sketch layouts from this blog. They are fantastic, not to complicated with lots of little complex items. So I have been inspired. Although I am not sure what I will think of this card, in a weeks time.

Just realised as I was about to click on Publish Post, that I also am getting more use of out the expensive toy - Cuttlebug. yay.

Forever Friends Sunday Week 11

Hi and welcome to another Forever Friends Sunday. 11 weeks I am doing good here. Today is another card from the Creativity Magazine. Phil Martin made this as a DL card and I dont like tent fold cards - so I made this into a square card. I love Phil Martins card but he is not Clare Curd he brings his own style. Still sulking that Clare has left docrafts, but wish her all the best in her new ventures. Clare Curd made an equally stunning Forever Friends card in her column.

WOYWW 104 - Happy Anniversary

Thank you for all the advise about naughty blogger, unticking remember me and to use another browser. It will be hard to transfer all my favourites into another browser, so i hope that they fix it soon. But I am back in business and can comment. So will catch up when soon.

My mum is still in hospital, no more news there. Will keep you updated.
