CES February's Guest Designer

I was delighted to be asked to be the guest designer over at CES Challenges just prior to the new year. Not only is Emma a great person, she runs a fantastic online store. Her customer services are excellent. With every purchase in her online store you are sent some raffle tickets for a chance at every month to win a voucher to spend in her store.

I discovered her online store when I was flipping through a magazine and saw some gorgeous cards made. I already owned the stamps, but admired the paper which Emma had in stock.

The challenge at CES Challenges this week is a theme of Red and Romance.  For this month, if the item is in stock at Crafty Emma's Stores I will link it up to the store if you are interested to purchase the item in the Product used list at the bottom of each post. This card uses Wild Rose Studio Lily with letter stamp. I gave her a hair cut and chopped off her wings. On the panel with the image, I edged it with promarker. Then used a red fine pen = to add dots all the way around. Then I added glitter to all the layers on the edge to give it that extra touch. Then some gems.

The background is achieved using Papermania Bird Song - Trellis stamps. Ideal for creating your own backgrounds - that is why I probably purchased it and the V&A mini stamps.
