More Cards

Whilst approaching my last week with the Guest Design team. I wanted to showcase more products from her gorgeous store.

This time is the turn of Christmas. Although miles away = I tend to look at christmas products with an open mind this time of the year. The bargains and make christmas cards until at least May. I get to use my stamps more this way. Well, I least try (if I can avoid spending more).

So I wanted to show Milton With Poinsetta Stamp from Wild Rose Studio. Here are my cards:

Spiceberry

One of the reasons I discovered Crafty Emma Stores was because of this Memory Box Spiceberry Paper pad I saw in quick cards made easy. I fell in love with the paper and the card designs. The paper was gorgeous! I just had to have the pad after that. I mis read the article and thought it was available elsewhere after a couple of emails I realised my silly mistake.

I made this card using this paper and Wild Rose Studio Stamp - Ava With Present

Better Late Than Never....

I would really like to apologise for the lateness of this card. If it was not one thing it is another, that kept me away from my desk. My mothers illness..

On to this weeks challenge at CES Challenges is to create a card with the theme of Spots and Stripes. This card was worked on bits and bobs since last night. However, it went through many different versions before I finally arrived at a place with this card where I was happy with.

New Year Card

I made this new year card using promarkers and a Forever Friends Number Stamp. Simple and cheap. The sentiment was printed off the pc. The coloured pink and blue are using promarkers. Bows and gems to add in for detail.

I only realised that the sentiment was wonky on the pic after the card had been posted. So I could not re take the photo.

You can get your range of promarkers singles and sets from Crafty Emmas Store at £1.75 each, which is a good price. I have seen stores charge as much £1.99 or more for singles. You can visit the selection of promarkers by clicking here

CES February's Guest Designer

On to my second week as a guest designer over at CES Challenges. This week the challenge is to create a card using the theme Cute n Cuddly.

I have used the North Pole Friends Stamp which is on sale at the moment at Crafty Emma's Store for an amazing price of £6.99. This is a bargain.

Here are my cards using this stamp set.

This card uses DCWV paper - Let is snow and Nestabilites.

This card uses a Martha Stewart Snowflake Punch along with DCWV Let it Snow Paper

This card uses the same stamp combined with Wild Rose Studio - Candy floss Paper

This card uses a snowflake embossing folder, nestabilities and Wild Rose Studio Candy Floss Paper

This card uses a swirl embossing folder using the debossed side.

I hope you like these.

Although this is a Christmas stamp set, I have used this to create birthday cards and the sentiments can be changed to anything you have in your stash.

CES February's Guest Designer

I was delighted to be asked to be the guest designer over at CES Challenges just prior to the new year. Not only is Emma a great person, she runs a fantastic online store. Her customer services are excellent. With every purchase in her online store you are sent some raffle tickets for a chance at every month to win a voucher to spend in her store.

I discovered her online store when I was flipping through a magazine and saw some gorgeous cards made. I already owned the stamps, but admired the paper which Emma had in stock.

The challenge at CES Challenges this week is a theme of Red and Romance.  For this month, if the item is in stock at Crafty Emma's Stores I will link it up to the store if you are interested to purchase the item in the Product used list at the bottom of each post. Just hover over the text and click on the text, it will take you to the store where the item is located. Here is my card:
LOL, only if i took a picture of every stage of this card, the papers, the different things I did along the way.

This card uses Wild Rose Studio Lily with letter stamp. I gave her a hair cut and chopped off her wings. On the panel with the image, I edged it with promarker. Then used a red fine pen = to add dots all the way around. Then I added glitter to all the layers on the edge to give it that extra touch. Then some gems.

The background is achieved using Papermania Bird Song - Trellis stamps. Ideal for creating your own backgrounds - that is why I probably purchased it and the V&A mini stamps.

Liebster Blog

Thank you Shree for this lovely award. I truly appreciate it. You are truly kind.

Shree is a fellow crafter, and a huge heart. She is such a lovely person. And I always tend to pop on over to her blog sooner or later.

The rules of accepting this award:

So this means I can pass this award on to others as well and there are just so many to chose from and everything single one of them deserve awards but well I can only chose so many. So with that in mind, if you wish to accept the award then you get to pass this on to 3-5 other unknow good blogs and you need to make a blog post with links to the awarding blog (mine!) and all the ones you pass it on to, then let them know you've tagged them.

Now the toughie - who to pass this onto, click on their names to be taken to their blogs:

WOYWW

Welcome to another week of madness of WOYWW, with the host Julia. If you do not know what I am talking about, do not forget to pop over here and see the madness.

I finally finished the card I started two weeks ago and showed on WOYWW. The scraps of paper are still on my desk - as I think I can make another card from it.

For those who like to see the detail, you will see a list of products I used to make various christmas cards using Peppers Christmas Party stamp sets and a few sketches of ideas for cards for the scraps.

Here is a better shot of the card I made for Erica, to get the freebie of this image and the papers, click here.

I hope you like!

If you remember my previous post - I was not too sure of the black and was going to replace it with the blue. When i put the blue down, it still didnt look right so I used both!!!!!!!!

I keep loosing followers. Sorry if I caused offence to anyone!

If you like what you see, please become a follower and I will become a follower of your blog as well. (leave me a message, with your blog addy - sometimes they are not always easy to find!)
