In our local town, we always have the March and a poppy fly over with weather permitting on the actual day of 11th November. It annoys me for those who can not observe the 2 minute silence. You have the freedom because people lost their lives. Respect...

This is the time I normally tease you with sneak peaks before my forthcoming demonstration. However I do not have many samples, but lots of cards prepared to be made up on the day for the demonstration. Once they are done, I will start posting them for the Creative Expressions demo. During my last visit to Kims Craft in Hinckley, I noticed that they are now stocking Wild Rose Studio stamps. So I will add that to the demonstration.

Creative Expression Demonstration

This Saturday I am demonstration Creative Expressions / Wild Rose Studio at Kims Craft, Hinckley Branch from 10am to 1pm. Glitterpot Demonstration Weekend Spectacular

 

I went to the Glitterpot this Sunday gone for their demonstration spectacular and finally met Clare Curd! I really enjoyed her demonstration and her card samples were stunning as always. She is a really nice friendly person and I enjoyed talking to her about my wedding and card making. Thank you for your advise, I will certainly take it on and will let you know how I get on.

She made some really stunning cards, however I wish docrafts would publish more of her stunning cards in project of the weeks or in Creativity section of the site. Instead of taking them and not doing as much.

I really enjoyed the demonstration and had fun. Yes I did buy some new goodies but as Clare said I was reserved with my purchases from my normal buying self.  Which was true, but now I have to becareful of my pennies! I bought some individual copic markers to try out a technique will let you know if this works.

I have been busy making cards but as they are all for the demonstration this weekend and next, I have nothing new to show you at present. I will however post some sneak peaks later in the week once I have had a chance to take some pictures of the card samples.  I will post details of the demonstration and pictures of the stamps that I will be using.

I am itching to craft with the new oriental range from Papermania, it looks fab and I like oriental cards. It is something different.

I still have not managed to get around to many blogs, but with some free time today I should be able today.

Birthday Celebrations

I have been unable to get back to blogland since Thursday because I have been celebrating my partners birthday then my birthday today. Will be back tomorrow afternoon after a bit of rest. Thank you for all your comments, I have managed to visit some blogs some left to go

I am back

hi all, sorry for the long absence it could not be helped. I am back in the UK. This is a short post in fear of loosing more followers!!!!

After the last post things have been a bit hectic around here. The wedding prepartions, the wedding, all the things that needed to be done after the wedding. However I am now back in blogland. I should be able to catch up on all your lovely blogs by this weekend and oh yes I have been crafting lots whenever I can!  

Today is a bit of a short post, but I hope to provide you more of a update about my wedding. A lot of people have asked for pictures, but it took me a long while to post pictures of myself here...

Business will resume shortly with cards I have been making since I have been back.

Safe and Sound

hi, just a quick note to say that I arrived safe and sound in India on 29th September.  I have seen most sites in Delhi, but here is a couple of snapshots of this recent visit. 

The one is of a statue of Hanuman, one of the gods.  He is built from the ground, and higher than the building and overlooks the Metro Station and track. It is stunning.  It is certainly something to see. 

The second picture is of a world famous Bangla Sahib Gurdwara and is graced with history.

After today I doubt I will have a lot of time to post, catch up with you soon.

I am off...

Just came on to wish all my fellow crafters, loyal followers and all my cyber buddies a farewell. In just a matter of hours, I will be at the airport ready to take off. I am still remembering things, have I packed this, have I packed this. Whatever I do not have now I will buy when I get there.

Since my last post on Saturday, you have all been so kind with your comments. Thank you for all your lovely comments, your support, the time you take to leave such generous comments.

I will try to post when I can, but again I can not promise anything. I notice I have lost and gained followers. Thank you for becoming a follower of my blog. Hopefully I will not disappoint as there is plenty of posts you can catch up on.

I hope I am not away for long, because I have worked very hard at this blog. I may be back quicker, if my other half can get a job working nights and weekends!!!! lol. Do you know of any?

I will soon be off flying away to India to get married.

Goodbye for now...

Whilst I am getting ready for my wedding, I have been trying my best to come online to carry on building my blog, which I have worked very hard for. But its not just about posting on the blog, its supporting those who support you in blogland and in my gallery at docrafts. Whilst preparing for the wedding and due to fly out in 10 days, panic has set in and I have had to make the very tough decision to say goodbye for now.

I have a couple of other tough decisions to make, but my brain and my heart is still fighting it out.

I could schedule posts for four to six weeks, however I have no idea what to write out so in advance. I have so many other commitments, and so much stuff I need to prepare for in advance.

I appreciate everyones your kind comments and your visits to my blog, I will try to update it from time to time, but I can not promise.

I can not promise when I will return, may be sooner than you all think. However if it all goes to plan, I should successfully return before christmas with a bang. I have two little surprises planned, so please do not abandon me yet.

It is with much sadness, and a few tears, I will be saying bye for now. Catch up with you soon.

P.S. For those who I have demonstrate to at Kims Craft, you will still see me in November. I am not cancelling that.
