My Card For CCSR's Stampin Chic Colour Challenge and Clare's Sketch Challenge

This card has several firsts for me. The first time using the Papermania Duo Stamp With Happy Birthday, the first time stamping onto Vellum, the first time using this colour combination of turquoise and yellow and the first time i managed to start and finish a new card in just over an hour.
.
I had this card idea almost instantly as soon as i saw the colour challenge at Stampin Chic, however with a busy bank holiday ahead i couldnt decide where to put the ribbon that is until i saw clares sketch challenge. I have used the sketch in a portrait layout.

I stamped the Happy Birthday in turquoise blending blocks all over the card black. Stamped the Daisley stamp for the Doodle Stamp set onto the turquoise card. Added the butterfly, created a trail with a pokey tool, and added adhesive gems. I hope you like.

Products used:
Papermania Duo Stamp - Happy Birthday and Present
CCSR Doodle Stamp Set
Watermark Ink Pad
Black Pigment Ink
Clear Embossing Powder
Plain Vellum
Waterbrush Markers
Adhesive Gems
Wide turquise organza ribbon

and some great music to listen to whilst making the card.

New Card For Clare's Sketch Challenge

I have created this card for Clare's Sketch Challenge over at docrafts. I have used the free stamp offered in last issue of Creativity to create my own background with Black Sparkling Embossing Powder. Added Doodlebug cardstock, Stamped the main image onto white card, added ribbon across the doodlebug cardstock and the stamped image. I edged the stamped image with black pen and drew a free hand border around the flower.

I usually sketch my card designs first, to ensure that i will be happy with the final card. however this time i bravely started with the idea in my head, no idea how the finished card would look like. I am quiet happy with this card. Enjoy.
.
Products used:
Free Stamp With Creativity Magazine
Black Sparkling Embossing Powder
Black Pigment Ink Pad

CCSR Sketch Challenge Card and Clare's No Patterned Paper Challenge

I have created another card using Clare's Sketch Challenge, instead of using a square i decided to use papermania flowers with a brad.

I have kept on changing this card since i started making it in bits and bobs on Sunday (bad Crafting hair day). I have now come to the point where i am happy with it.

I stamped the cupcake and present stamp on the background and embossed it. Coloured the image using waterbrush markers.

Products used:
CCSR Stamping Chic - Party
Pink Cardstock
Pink Pigment ink - two different shades
Watermark Ink Pad
Clear Embossing powder
Waterbrush Markers

Bad Hair Day

Today I feel like I have been having a really long bad hair day but in the crafting world! Its not a crafting block, I have the ideas in my head, and then when i go to transform it, I get stuck or it dont look right. Which has made me feel down with my crafting, so i have put the half finished ideas to one side, however i will come back to it a later time or until a light bulb clicks in my head! :(

Daisy And Dandelion Range

This new range is fantastic. I love it. They are so cute. Just see the Daisy and Dandelion blog and challenge blog for lots of inspiration. The latest docraft magazine as so much inspiration from E. Martin - the wonderful designer and creator of this range. Also take a look in Clare Curds Corner for further inspiration. Spread the word, love it. You will find lots of inspiration in the docrafts gallery alone from other crafters.

Card For Clare's No Patterned Paper Challenge

I am just loving stamping at the moment. And when i heard about Clare's challenge for this week using no patterend paper, I was jumping for Joy. I already have so many cards in my gallery using no patterned papers at docrafts. However i will enter this card for the challenge.
.
Its great getting back into crafting, I am in love with it.
.
For this card, i have used coordinations cardstock, Clare's Doodle Stamp Set, Watermark Ink Pad, Papermania Floral Stamp Set, Clear Embossing Powder, circle punch, clear glitter glue. adhesive gem stones.
.
I stamped the floral corner stamp from the papermania stamp set using a watermark ink pad and clear embossing powder. On the strip of pink card, i off stamped one of the doodle stamps. Added circle punches to the bottom, covered those in glitter. And the rest is as shown as above. I have also doodled around the edges.

New Card

I have created this new card, not really new. Created this about two and half weeks ago just before my holiday using the papermania duo stamp. Bargain stamps for only £1.99. I have got a few of those. I also used everyday ribbon, coordinations cardstock, and pearlescent glitter glue. Where the ribbon currently is, will replace it with a greeting, or a smaller stamp i think.

Have left it blank for a greeting to be added for when the occasion comes.

I am back...

I am glad to be back home, did miss it really bad.

I actually went for a Holiday to India, my aim was to visit the taj mahal, golden temple, jaipur, delhi and ajmer. I wanted to visit as many tourist and historical sites as possible.

I did get to see a lot of Delhi, however i got sick instantly there and then with riots occurring due to up coming elections and then it was decided it wasnt safe to travel. However, i will go again to India later on in the year and aim to do all the above again. I am determined!

I looked at all the amazing projects on the docrafts gallery, it was over 150 pages. However, i have left feedback on the latest cards as possible, it would be virtually impossible to leave feedback on all projects since my absence. However i will say there are beautiful inspiring cards in the gallery, and i love them.
